Whilst at Huddersfield, I was Principal Investigator for this project (funded by first AHRC and then Parliamentary Digital Service). The project continues under the technical leadership of Dr. Alex von Lunen and I remain involved from the ‘outside’. Our aim was to make corpus linguistic approaches to the official record of the UK parliament (Hansard) more accessible to non-expert users so that patterns of linguistic usage can be investigated by anyone motivated to do so.
